Development and mastery of AI: digital trust in the service of innovation?
As a Data Protection Officer, CISO, executive, or even in a personal capacity, it's difficult to continue raising awareness about data protection in a context where massive data breaches are multiplying and data-hungry technologies such as’Artificial intelligence, develop.
The Digital trust, can thus be understood as a societal mission: to contribute to building a reliable and secure digital ecosystem, on which public and private actors, professionals and the general public can rely.
At the organizational level, this approach translates very concretely into two sides of the same coin: the deployment of resources to achieve a sufficient level of security, reliability, and compliance, and
the ability to justify it, according to the principle of accountability dear to the GDPR, to reassure and build trust.
Artificial intelligence, as a technological innovation, is therefore part of this complex landscape, and the DPO has a role to play in supporting organizations in a responsible innovation and digital trust approach.
